Hello to all on the Bevel Wagon. The Bona Venture has created a new web site, www.thebv.org , and it will be fully functional and online by the end of this week. Starting with the issue for Friday, September 29, the newspaper will be online every week with the same issue that comes out in print, so people who want to know about Bona's anywhere in the world can stay up to date with what is going on. However, along with putting each week's paper online, The Bona Venture is going to also try to take a new step this year. Because the amount of interest that the basketball team obviously generates, the newspaper is going to have a game preview, game story and column for every game this season on the web site. There will also be a weekly Atlantic 10 notebook on the web site, as well. We are hoping that this will be something that people will take advantage of, and would want to see. If you have any questions, comments or ideas about the web site and our basketball coverage, post your thoughts. We will be monitoring the thread to see what people have to say, and will answer your questions as well as we can. The BV

A HUGE EXALT for the BV going back online. I cant tell you how many times I looked last spring semester, only to find the same issue from February.

This is great news, I already have it bookmarked. Should we sticky this thread so it stays at the top like the bandwagon link? Maybe we should make a stickied thread entitled "other Bonaventure Related Sites" and include the Bandwagon, BV online, the official alumni message board, and any other ones we find to cut down on stickied threads. Thoughts?

Another HUGE EXALT for the BV reaching out to the BEVELWagon, the Red-Headed Stepchild of SBU.

Thank you for deciding to keep this link near the top of your page. The more people that see it, the better.
If you register an e-mail address on our web site (free of charge, btw ... just have to put in an e-mail address and a password) you will get the paper e-mailed to you whenever a new edition is published, or when an old edition is updated, like when a game story is added to the site.
Glad to see the positive reaction, and be sure to post any questions or comments on the site once you've seen it.

Too bad the University has issues promoting our message board or the BV would be a great place to do it.

I think if the BV promoted our bevel board, it would lead to this website getting disappeared again, Sopranos style.
Thanks for the link, BV. What are the odds on a special RAP BATTLE section in the new online BV? You could give updates and highlights of daily Bevelwagon BATTLES. It's been mighty busy BATTLING for that belt, as southhampton stripped S Dot Carter of his place on top, then successfully defended his new championship a whopping four times. It might be up to five now. If that's not newsworthy, I don't know what is.

You're going back to Wu Tang's bogus theory of the University shutting the board down, and I'm almost positive that's not what happened. It was from one of my potty mouthed posts I think.

I wasn't thinking of the University shutting us down, but some uptight toolbox who is shocked and appalled by how we have fun.
I'm thinking of someone like an old roommate of mine, The Evil Toolbox. He was so uptight and introverted that he called the cops and security on me twice. I was drinking beer with Softintheo and a few others. He was a fun-stopper and full of douchebaggery. He's probably one of the jerks we bickered with on the original BANNEDwagon. He deserved a mighty kick to the balls, if not many mighty kicks.
If somebody like that saw the Bevelwagon I think they'd try to report us, even though our new version is censored, friendlier, and funnier.
Fear the Evil Toolboxes of SBU. They have nothing better to do than try to stop us from having fun.

Fuck 'em.
I'll pay to take out a full page ad in the BV promoting the BevelWagon.
Who do I send the check to?

I'll chip in a couple $ for an advertisement. Possibly one to send other to our board for more rap battles or upcoming $ym concerts.

General Tso's Chicken 'em. I'll pay to take out a full page ad in the BV promoting the BevelWagon. Who do I send the check to? A fantastic response. EXALTED!! Too bad the Evil Toolboxes cannot be more like you, Bonafide. And I say that even though you once took a poop in a little kid's clubhouse, then returned a different day and set the place on fire. Edited to add: The more I think about it, the more I want an ad. Count me as one who will help chip in.
