being cold is part of the tradition and atmosphere. plus it is a big advantage when a warm weather team comes to town so i have no problem with it

Looks like the bills are going to have a good shot at a top 5 pick and getting Quinn. Theres no question they need a quality QB and hes the best prospect at this point. MikeNice, Question, do you root for Quinn if the bills draft him.

I am not totally sold on 1) Quinn is a top-tier QB along the lines of what Carson Palmer turned out to be 2) Losman is a total loss (I think the offensive line needs some major help) and 3) There are other terrible teams that the Bills are better than and will likely end up in 6-10 range, likely moving out of Quinn's range. With that said, I think Marv needs to get this draft right or this team could be in a bad rut for the forseeable future. Maybe I am expecting a lot from Losman, but he seems a little more confident this year, even though he is still not a stud or solid by any means. Our lack of the running game as of late has killed us, especially coming up with FGs instead of TDs. But with that said I think there is a lot of issues here with this team and filling one gap won't stop the damn from overflowing.

Well its between Quinn or Brohm as far as top QB in the draft is going to be. I personally like Quinn a little better, think he is more suited for the pro game, but a lot of people like Brohm as well. I think the Bills will have the oppurtunity to get one of the two.

MikeNice, Question, do you root for Quinn if the bills draft him. Dude, Quinn is not the answer either. I don't want him as a QB. I'd rather the Bills see if Nall is the next Jake Delhomme for the next 9 games. Playing out the string with Losman wouldn't be the worst thing either. Basically, the worst thing Buffalo can do is play Holcomb. But Losman looks dumb as hell and somehow, he's getting worse each week. I'm just about done with JP after preaching patience with him all season. He's General Tso's Chickening stupid, locks on his receivers and can't hold on to the football. I'm General Tso's Chickening tired of the Bills. And compared to the Sabres, I General Tso's Chickenin hate them. They could leave Buffalo right now and I wouldn't give a General Tso's Chicken

Luckily most of these were before my team. Kyle Brady was the first pick i cared about the draft for.
Roger Vick.... UGH!
But i do love that video, the fans knew the team was making terrible selections

The Jets should just autodraft in the future. Actually it would be interesting to see what players they would have ended up wit hin the first round if they just picked the highest rated player available by Mal Kieper or someone.

I agree with thedean, it's the team, not one player.
On a side note, it is funny listening to people bitch here about Donovan McNabb and how they want a new QB. My argument back to them is who do you want, other than Peyton and Brady? They have nothing. Just felt like I'd give another point of view. I think it would be interesting to have a Monday Morning Bevel QB ala what most websites do where we could recap our team or the team in our city, even if they aren't the one we cheer for.

I don't get why Mcgahee's isn't looked at as having a good year or being top back in the league. Look at the bills line and then look at his stats for the year compared to others.
Player Team Att Yd Avg TD Recpt Yd Avg TD FL
Taylor, Chester RB MIN 137 590 4.3 2 21 137 6.5 0 0 Bell, Tatum RB DEN 124 585 4.7 2 13 55 4.2 0 2 Dunn, Warrick RB ATL 122 580 4.8 2 4 22 5.5 0 0 McGahee, Willis RB BUF 150 564 3.8 1 14 127 9.1 0 0 Barber, Tiki RB NYG 102 533 5.2 0 22 190 8.6 0 0 Jackson, Steven RB STL 133 521 3.9 2 25 224 9.0 0 0 Gore, Frank RB SF 112 520 4.6 3 24 202 8.4 0 4 Johnson, Rudi RB CIN 130 506 3.9 4 9 50 5.6 0 0 Jones, Julius RB DAL 108 494 4.6 2 2 61 30.5 0 1 Foster, DeShaun RB CAR 128 490 3.8 1 17 94 5.5 0 2 Johnson, Larry RB KC 133 489 3.7 5 25 303 12.1 1 2 Parker, Willie RB PIT 126 481 3.8 5 11 47 4.3 0 2 Jones, Kevin RB DET 110 474 4.3 4 37 266 7.2 1 3 Tomlinson, LaDainian RB SD 126 473 3.8 7 32 246 7.7 1 1
Granted his bye has not happened yet but he is still up there in production despite how bad the Bills are and the fact they need to usually try and come from behind and pass the ball. He does lack in td's though.
But he is only 36 yds away from being the leagues leading rusher is my point.

The majority of those yards came in a big game against the Jets that the Bills lost. The Bills are giving him the ball a lot, and he's not producing big plays. He's racking up meaningless yards due to a lot of touches.

Put an offensive line in front of McGahee and Losman and I think they'd improve. Right now it's an offensive offensive line. BA-DUM-BUM-BUM!
Next year every draft pick should go towards the O and D lines. Worry about skill positions once you fix the trenches. Oh, they need a new cornerback too. Nasty Nate is out the door.
Edited to add: I don't know how the fuck the ref stripped Losman of the football. That has to be the first time that's ever happened.

I like that line better than when Gandy was protecting Losman's backside
