HA! Well done wally if indeed you're Jeremy Noeson.
EXALTED!
So you ran WSBU with an iron fist huh? No fun allowed at 88.3. I think there's a few Bevelators who were banned from the radio in 2001 (Cosmo and heemehead).
But anyways, this is a Bills thread. I'm taking JP Losman with my top fantasy pick in the Bevelator fantasy league.

Nah, dude, Noeson was cool. Still is. When you think about the Buzz, and you think about toolboxes, you think about Andy Keenan. That's who I meant by 'the type who ran it when I was there.' Can't say I ever had a problem with him though.

I'll have to respectfully disagree with thedean. He was a massive tool. Almost as big a tool as Fitz and Chris Heck. They joysticked juice and I over every semester until I just stopped showing up for my show.
Keenan used to let us do whatever we wanted. Then they tried to stop us from playing classic rock. If wally is Noeson, I'm not gonna apologize.

Wow, look at this action developing. Do I even need to type it?
BATTLE!!
Anyway, the only person at the BUZZ that I definitely had beef with was Mike Lindsey (SP). This is the dude who looked like Greg Williams, then head coach of the Buffalo Bills, currently defensive coordinator for the Redskins. He fancied himself as a sports know it all but I punked him in an argument at some party on why Doug Flutie was a better QB than Rob Johnson. Anyway, when our radio show was got into trouble, he was one of the assholes leading the vote for our show getting canned from the airwaves. The first vote was a draw. Then they voted again and we lost by one vote. And it was all because we played a song that said "shit". Completely accidental. I still hold a grudge. Our show was very popular back then. Dr. Mindbender, remember the Happy Hour?

Lyndsey was in my broadcast reporting class and definitely thought he was a sports expert. We'd talk hockey and he had a hard on for Jose Theodore.
Anyway...I almost got in trouble for the F-bomb over the air once. It was either Keenan or Lindsey. The lyric was "it would seem to me I remember every single fuckin thing I know." I knew full well I was supposed to silence it; I just didn't. But I denied the word was in the song. "I was listening. I heard it." I denied it still and showed him the CD case that has all the songs' lyrics on it. Sure enough, the f-bomb was omitted. I took it to the Man.
By the way... BATTLE BATTLE BATTLE

Lindsley was a step above retarded. He definitely looked retarded. Let's just hope he isn't procreating...

Mikenice, I don't need or want an apology from you. Hell, I don't even remember who you are, but you certainly seem to remember me. That's good enough for me.
Vinny, of all the songs that had to drop an f-bomb...it had to be The Hip. That's an EXALT from me right there. The Hip are such an underappreciated band.
EXALT to thedean as well...

I recall someone telling us to fuck our mothers and then they didn't allow live phone calls to be broadcasted...Thanks Big Al. Big Al was another Bonaventure legend. Lindsley was an A No 1 toolbox.

So how 'bout them Bills Saturday, huh? Boy, that Kelly Holcomb looked good. I especially liked the way he one-hopped a seven yard pass to a wide open receiver. And the way he read Carolina's defense on that interception? Man, you just can't teach quarterbacking like that.
The Lionel Gates touchdown was cool though. It just sucks that the Bills 2006 highlight film is only going to be one preseason play long.

I couldn't agree more. I hate Holcomb more than anyone nowadays. He can't throw the ball over 15 yards. Losman needs to be named the starter asap.

So he can badly overthrow open recievers down field? Or how bout when he throws a nice 2-hopper to the reciever's feet. I love those. Yes, Losman should start this year so the Bills can see if he can play at this level, but a lot of times he plays like he has been hit in the arm with a bevel. It really comes down to do you want an old pile of shit or a fresher pile of shit.

I was out of town this weekend in Cedar Point so I recorded the game and watched it just now during my lunch break. A couple of observations:
- The defense was shaky early against Carolina but I thought they clamped down after that and played pretty well.
-JP Losman was rough around the edges early, but not nearly as awful as Kelly Holcomb. Levy should tell Kelly to park his car in his closed garage with the engine running and read the playbook cover to cover. Losman absolutely needs to be the starter.....unless Craig Nall is the next Delhomme.
-Lindell was solid. Please just do that all year dude.
-I liked Lionel Gates and that touchdown was nasty. Good, hard running the whole time he was in.
