This stick food doesn't look half bad. I've been hearing the food is decent now. Mrsmiff or any other current students, can you confirm or deny these reports? Is the new Stickey really pumping out good food? Does it still make you have to sprint to the can 5 minutes after eating it?

I never thought the food at the hickey was that bad, well except dinner on the weekends freshman year. This menu will give new definition to bona hogs. I hope they still have a salad bar.

I wish I could go there for lunch, a grilled ruben, smoked chipotle mac and cheese, and some roasted carrots and potatoes sound a lot better then the subway I am probably going to eat. I don't even know what smoking chipotle mac and cheese is, it's probably something really cool that I don't even know about yet. I never thought the food was that bad, I think it is just tradition to complain about it. If not anything else they made it at least sound better on the munu.

No more dirty water dogs? I thought those were a permanent untouched dining hall staple.

I hated working there when they served beef stroganoff. Every group of guys that came in would call it beef stroke me off. The first time would have been funny if I hadn't thought of it myself. Every 45 seconds. "Hey guys! We're having beef STROKE ME OFF! HAHAHAHA!" It got old.

The best part of working in the Stick: Unlimited townhouse bread supply and playing bathroom tennis. Turn left! Turn right!

I also worked at the Stickey for a brief stint Sophomore year.

I used to love working the slop line at the Stickey. I would get pissed when people would throw their silverware in that washbin so that it would splash water at me, so I kept a supply of forks in my apron to splash people who did this right back.

Also me and a friend who worked the slop line with me (some of you know him as Butt Snyde) invented a great game to pass the time. It's a variation of a lot of games, but I'm going with we invented it. Anyway, any chic that came to the slop line we would say whether or not we would bang her. If you wouldn't bang her, you had to say how many beers it would take to make her look attractive. If there wasn't enough beer in the world, you had to specify how much money it would take. So people would walk by and we would just be staring straight ahead saying, "yes, no, 12, 15, 1500 bucks, 2 million, I'd rather die broke, ect., ect..." It really helped pass the time.

You guys wouldn't believe the Hickey now. It is absolutely gorgeous. I could go on describing it but it really is something you have to see for yourself.
The food is definitely better. Still not great, but a huge improvement from wattered down tomato sauce and burnt cheeseburgers.
