Caught a little of the opening and have to say Conan O'Brien is a pretty funny dude. Isn't he set to take over for Leno in like another decade?

Yep. My first "real" job in television (other than being an NBC Page, which was more like a fifth year of college than anything else) was as a production assistant/intern coordinator/receptionist for Late Night with Conan O'Brien. The job itself was pretty shitty, but all really low-level jobs in television are, but the show itself was great. When I was an intern there, the interns would be watching "The Simpsons" after the show and Conan would come in, sit down for a little while, and talk about the episode and give little behind-the-scenes trivia (he was a producer there before he hosted "Late Night").
Great guy.

Oh God...I missed that. What elevated the bit from "genius" to "legendary" was Conan wandering into Dateline's "To Catch A Predator."
