If it helps, I can bail too. My heart isn't quite 100% into this but the only reason I didn't bail was because I didn't want to fuck things up. But I'm willing to contract McGahee's Knee Surgeons to even the field

I hate to see anyone bail. Especially one of the BevelWagon's fouding fathers, but it's up to you guys. I still think finding a 14th is the best option. Did you try looking through the other fantasy thread to find out who that other guy was who wanted to play? Whatever you both decide on, get it done before Monday night. Giddy up.

Who was the private message from of the person looking to drop out? Was it someone other than sdot carter? If you look in the other thread, Southhampton said he would also play. But the bottom line is, there has to be an even number of teams. If the person looking to drop out is anyone other than sdotcarter, they should have said something a LONG time ago.
dean, these are your options. If someone drops out you're in. If someone doesn't drop out, ask Southampton if he still wants to play and then you are both in. Either way, you should be able to play if you want to. But if you are joining due to a dropout, make sure that person has removed their team before you actually sign up.

I'll clarify: Whyamisobig told me that he has a live draft scheduled for the same time tonight, so he won't be able to draft. So he wouldn't mind dropping out if need be. So that's not the same as him wanting to drop out. I'm ready to draft tonight, if I'm in. I've added my team (temporary name: New York Nincompoops) to the league to make sure I'm there. We'll contact Southampton. If either (1) he doesn't sign up or (2) nobody else drops out, Cosmo please just bounce me from the league before the draft starts. This is what I will do. If by the time I get home tonight, nobody has dropped out, and nobody else has signed up, I will search around the interenet and get one more random to sign up with the league. That way we'll have an even 14, and everyone who wants to gets to play. |
