From time to time us Bevelators come across humorous or relevant stories to the Bevelwagon and want to share them with the group. Instead of cluttering up the board with threads about each story, I was thinking this could be the thread to post those stories or links and thus hold the subsequent discussions about them. For starters, in case you weren't sure already, David Copperfield has lost his mind. abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory?id=2315489

Kitten Cruelty

BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -- Five kittens are recovering at an animal shelter in Buffalo after being injured when a man put them in a frying pan filled with hot cooking oil.
Authorities say the incident occurred Saturday afternoon in the apartment of a man who was cooking food for an acquaintance he had met at a bus stop.
When the apartment's resident left the kitchen, the acquaintance placed the kittens in the pan of hot grease.
Police were called to the apartment, and they arrested the man, whose name hasn't been released.
Animal control officers say the man will be charged with cruelty to animals.
The six-week-old kittens were taken to an animal shelter, where staff members cleaned them up and treated their wounds.
Officials at the shelter say the kittens are doing well.

This is a good way to quit a job: www.urbaninsite.com/replay/iquitthisbitch.mp3But my all-time favorite was this: I used to work in a Movie Theater and every Thursday (or the night before a new movie came out) someone would be responsible for changing the mylar outside the theater (big lit up sign with all the movies listed). So one Thursday one of my co-workers who was assigned this task went out and took all the letters for the movies down put up I QUIT and bounced.

Tom Cruise lands on feet with new deal Dumped by Paramount last week for his off-screen antics, star inks two-year development deal with firm headed by Redskins owner Daniel Snyder.
I guess Dan Snyder just can't help himself when it comes to signing shitty free agents. After Washington goes 5-11 this season and Tom Cruises next two films bomb because everyone but Katie loathes him, we may be putting Snyder in Isiah Thomas' company.

Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is being made to watch his appearance in cult cartoon South Park while he is behind bars. The deposed leader on trial in Iraq was featured in the movie spin-off as the lover of the devil. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut featured Hussein and Satan attempting to take over the world together. Speaking at the Edinburgh International Television Festival, South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone said US Marines guarding the former dictator during his trial for genocide were making him watch the movie "repeatedly". "I have it on pretty good information from the Marines on detail in Iraq that they showed him the movie last year. That's really adding insult to injury. I bet that made him really happy," Stone said. Former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein is being made to watch his appearance in cult cartoon South Park while he is behind bars. The Brent Musberger Drinking Game: This is not a headline, but I didn't feel like making a new thread. If you trim the rules down considerably this could be a solid game. www.fanblogs.com/ncaa/005660.php
