Yup. Looking forward to it. For all participating this year, a reminder: if you don't think you can make the live draft on Monday night at 10pm, set your pre-rankings.
According to what I've read the draft order will set 30 minutes before the draft. Also, you might want to familiarize yourselves with the scoring. RBs will be valuable with the way I've set the scoring up. Also keep in mind that although they won't be automatically enforced there ARE going to be roster requirements. You can have on your roster no more or no less than 2 quarterbacks, 4 running backs, 6 wide receivers, 2 tight ends, 1 kicker, and 1 defense. Your roster must be legal at all times. If at any point during a week your roster is illegal, you will receive a score of zero for that week. Ultimate discretion of whether or not to enforce this penalty will be up to the person you are playing that week. What this means is that if you drop a QB, you better pick up a QB. If you make a transaction that causes your roster to become illegal, fix it fast. If it remains illegal for any noticeable length of time your opponent will have the option of enforcing the zero point rule for that week.

pissed I can't make the draft, I'm doing a live draft that night which should finish up in time for me to rush home and pick my backup kicker and 6th WR in the last two rounds of the Bevel Draft.

To address all questions:
Whyamisobig - You won't need a back up kicker. Only one. Check the roster requirements in the previous post. What we will do for defenses and kickers is when it gets to their bye week, you can drop them and pick up another, and you will have first right to your original kicker or defense after the bye week.
Thedean - we have an open spot providing you can also find one more team to make it an even 14. I think there was someone else looking to play in the original BevelWagon fantasy football thread.
S dot carter - I think it should be a free league. Getting money from everyone would be a huge pain in the ass. I would be willing to maybe send a sixer of cream ale to the winner.
We can also discuss the possibility of making this a keeper league. We should figure this out by the draft though, so people can pick accordingly.

How many people aren't going to be able to make the live draft tonight? If there's more than a couple then I'll have to do away with the roster requirements. There's no way to set Fox to autodraft with roster requirements in mind (to the best of my knowledge). So if you are going to be autodrafting let me know, and based on how many teams will be doing the autodraft, I will decide whether or not to get rid of the roster requirements described above.
See most of you Bevels in the draft room tonight.

Almost draft time bitches! I'm picking 9. What a shitty place to pick. Everyone post your teams here afterwards so we can undermine each other's confidence in the upcoming season. Hope I'm not the only loser drafting live tonight...

I'm quoting this post because Olean Huskies gripped up my defense. I dropped them because of a bye week and as I mentioned above before the season, I have dibs on picking them back up. I'm going to try and fix it myself, but if I can't, drop them tomorrow so I can add it back to my team. |

I wasn't able to drop the Ravens D from your lineup. But I was able to add back drew carter. So when you see this post, drop the Ravens D so I can pick them back up.
