Doesnt take away from the fact I still think he is a fraud:
To the Student Body,
I want to sincerely apologize to you for my comments following Wednesday night's game. If what I said was hurtful to you, I deeply regret it. I can assure you that I never at any time intended to "call out" the St. Bonaventure students or question your loyalty.
Since I came here in 2003, I have often talked about the student fans as the cornerstone of the home court advantage we have in the RC. I mean this. My passion for this university and basketball program includes each and every one of you. If any of my comments implied that your support is taken for granted, then I want to assure you that it is not. Your support is never taken for granted.
I said in my press conference that the student section was "light, as anticipated for the performance that was put on (by our team and me as a coach) Saturday night. I am responsible for that, too." You as fans have the right to expect something in return from us as a basketball program. When we do not deliver, you have the right to be displeased. From me as the head coach to everyone within our basketball program, we are working as hard as we can to improve.
Again, I apologize if what I said was hurtful to you in any way. We cherish your loyalty, passion and support.
