Sdot and BonaBus' contributions on the battle of the century thread got me thinking about this. I am curious to see who everyones favorite is.
I started watching sportscenter back when the "Big Show" was at its peak. I used to look forward to the Sunday Night sportscenter every weekend. One of my favorite lines was from that show for a home run, (I think, might be Mayne) "I am amused by the simplicity of this game, bring me your finest meats and cheeses".
Current favorite is Kenny Mayne, sometimes i watch horse racing just to listen to him. Mayne Event is always the best part of Sunday NFL Countdown. His dry humor always gets me. I also love Barry Melrose for three reasons 1) One of the smartest men in hockey 2) His straight forward delivery, he never beats around the bush 3) THE MULLET the single greatest hairstyle in sports entertainment
EDIT: ESPN Radio no one touches Mike and Mike in the morning. I even find myself watching them on ESPN2 if i get the chance. Doesnt hurt that Greenie is a big Jets fan either.

Karl Ravech and Bob Ley
I don't like the guys I'm getting the news from to be failed stand-up comics. A funny line here or there is ok, but don't let it interfere with your job - ala Stu.

Kenneth Mayne hands down.
As for ESPN Radio, Mike and Mike is tops but Colin Cowherd is a close second for me. He can say some pretty funny shit. And in third is the SportsBash with Eric Kusilias.

Scott Van Pelt is definitely my favorite (far right). I love his Aqua Teen Hunger Force references - "Number 1 in the Hood, G", and when he talks like Carl. Plus he is something like 6'5" which i respect the $hit out of

Anyone NOT named Chris Berman or Dick Vitale. They are sooooo fucking in love with their own personas that it is obnoxious.

I like Vitale just because of his genuine love for college basketball. He certainly gets annoying, hes almost unbearable when hes covering the ACC and Duke, but i really like how he has an real excitement about the game.

Not sure if I ever told this yet or not. Heemeehead and I went to a Buffalo Bills game once. The Bills were getting beat so the stadium emptied out. We went all the way down to the front where someone left a Buffalo Bills logo shaped cardboard cutout. We saw Bonnie Bernstein roaming the sidelines and so we wrote, "Bonnie Bernstein rules" on the back of it. She walked by us and gave us a disgusted look and said, "You guys have to much time on your hands." I think she wanted to fuck me. She's hot in a wierd sort of way.

Kenny Mayne and Charlie Steiner.
Both called Bonas games for ESPN while I was there. Back then, ESPN had these mock Melrose Place ads where Charlie was the pool boy. We had T-Shirts with a charicture of Charlie in a speedo asking him to be our pool boy. He got a kick out of them and signed several. Kenny spent tweny minutes in the student section before the game started and was looking for booze in our water bottles. He swore both to us and on air that we were on of the craziest student sections in the country (this was before they moved us from behind the visiting team bench). Good times back when Bona B-Ball actually merited ESPN covereage.

There was a rumor that went around, that at the Final Four a couple of years ago Bonnie Bernstein got tag teamed by Jason Williams and Chris Duhon. Not sure if there is any truth to it, but I heard the story.
Also Sam Ryan, the former sideline analyst for Monday Night Football, I heard is an absolute freak of the week in the sack. My buddy's uncle used to work with her ex-boyfriend and claims to have seen the pics. The ex-boyfriend went around showing them to all of his friends after they broke up.
