Watched last night's Ranger game...how about Jaromir Jagr scoring 29 seconds after taking the "C"? Or Brendan Shanahan scoring two goals, including his 600th? Or the dynamic goaltending of Henrik Lunqvist? Even though the Crapitals are a, well, crappy team, they looked like men on a mission.
BTW, I giggled hystercially over the Islander game. Mr. Fifteen Years DiPietro got spanked, including letting in four goals in a span of four-and-a-half minutes! Good to see Charlie Wang living up to his name!

Olean Ron, what a great thread idea. I did not want to dirty the Sabres thread with the following... I just heard about this and had to go to the Hurricanes website to see if it was true. It is. Tonight is "Opening Night 2." The Hurricanes are re-raising their banners tonight against the New Jersey Devils. From the website: 'OPENING NIGHT 2' TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE!

Opening Night = Opening Night Game 2 = Not Opening Night Fucking inbred toothless hicks. Bucky Phillips is a Hurricanes fan, and so's his trash family. I would say this about any team doing this, not just the Hurricanes (except for the hick part). But I can't see any other team doing this to sell tickets. |
