Clare College

So I decided a few weeks ago I want to go back and get my BA in computer enginnering and had my transcripts sent in. Of course, none of those damn Clare classes transferred. I think that entire programs shoud be done away with. Our class, '02, were the gineau pigs and it was a total mess. None of the profs knew what exactly they were supposed to be teaching. I remember I had one of my J/MC profs trying to teach the Clare Art class and it was ridiculous. Does anyone know if they have made any major changes?

This is exactly why I am an advocate of the abolition of Clare College. I agree with Bonafide--we should get rid of this nonsense (really-- do we need a course in "how to study") and get back to the meat and potatoes of the college curriculum and let the teachers teach.

Clare College was a scheme by Wickenheiser to attract basketball players and students who were borderline by giving them easy classes. It's time for it to stop.

There was absolutely nothing easy about Clare college. I did more work for those classes then I did for my major. I could bare with a few of them, but Natty World was by far the worst. Especially the lab, all that bullshit work for 1 god damn credit. It was awful.

Clare College is a disgrace. That fudge1's credits wouldn't transfer is but one of a thousand student (student=the customer = $$$$) complaints about Clare College. Clare College is one reason for the decrease in enrollment (slipping academics). This is another half-assed Wickenheiser scheme to shyster money....kinda like the welding certificate thing.
