The number of 16 members on at once is a huge number. I think the highest on the old board was 17, and that mark was hit back when we used to allow guests to read the board. So that fact that we had 16 registered members on at once is a milestone and a proud day for the BevelWagon.

I think we should change the filters to more fitting ones. I also see the point of how the bevel was founded on filters like fuck. This is a tough one. I think it would be funny if all the filters went to normal ones and then everyone once and a while fuck or cunt was brought back for like a day for old times sake.

I think the dictionary or cheat sheet if would be the ideal way to go. I think we all have had to read things in the past that had words we don't understand, and a cheat sheet would be easy to pass along via email or even personal messages when someone signs up. I'm trying to work out a good filter for pussy. For now, there is no filter. After all, it is only another word for cat. I didn't like Johnny Cake because if you were saying you were trying to get some, it didn't look good at all. Words like that that can be used in many different contexts are tough to properly filter.

Keep GTC. It's easy to figure out a weird filter if it's surrounded by other normal words. It got difficult when Mr Lunch Box and GTC were double up next to each other, etc. I agree about the one or two filters for genitalia. Also, I don't want to start seeing everything besides fuck just be replaced by @ * and what have you. putting the $ in shit and asshole is good. As an example, if we didn't already have GTC, a suitable filter for the F-bomb would be "blood clot" because we all know what it is replacing without thinking too hard.

I'm also glad johnny cake was changed. That made a lot of posts look gay. <-don't change this filter.

Also, we've never censored douchebag. Should we?
