Definately casting my votes for Frank "Third" Reich and Doug Flutie Although I am obviously a huge Dolphins fan, I was also a big fan of Flutie. I loved watching him play. I thought the Bills organization and a lot of Bills fans fucked him over big time.

Why does everybody sweat Doug Flutie so much? Granted me made one of the most memorable plays in College Football History, but seriously. He had success in the CFL(which no one here witnessed) had one or two decent seasons in the NFL yet is a hero to many. Is it his music?

If you never saw him play live, then you wouldn't appreciate him as a player as much as someone who has. My dad had season tickets during Flutie's tenure as a Bill. The guy literally had to jump sometimes just to throw the ball. Maybe it's just us midgets who liked to cheer for the midget quarterback.

When Doug Flutie played for Buffalo, he reminded me of Krusty the Klown. His face was EVERYWHERE, endorsing anything that came his way. There were Flutie Flakes cereal, Flutie Flakes Cereal Bars, Flutie's Favorite Sub from Wegmans, 1-800-Collect, some autism thingamabobber, his cameo in the horrendous TNT movie 'Second String,' and his CDs. That's what I can remember five years later so there was probably more.
The billboard for Flutie's Favorite Sub was awful. It featured an open mouthed Flutie's profile double fisting an uncut sub. The billboards were everywhere; almost as bad as Cellino and Barnes. I always wanted to climb up there with spray paint and turn the sub into a weiner.

Hmmm Marino has WAY more Super Bowl rings than Jim Kelly, right?

I respect Flutie really from the standpoint of getting people excited about the team after the Todd Collins era and to some extent his face helped sell tickets, especially season tickets, and thusly helped keep the team in Buffalo.
What I don't respect is his attitude towards being "the guy". He got the raw deal being replaced by RoJo, but he didn't help his case by throwing his teammates under the bus after a loss and never accepting blame.
