I think Wikipedia solved the age old mystery if Coors light and Keystone light are the same.
Keystone beer is a product of the Coors Brewing Company in Golden, Colorado. It is second chance beer of the Coors Brewing Company. Because Keystone comes from the second-chance portion of a batch of Coors, it has a lower price, and as a result is very popular among college students or those on a limited budget. It was first introduced in Chico, California. Keystone can be found in can, keg, and occasionally bottled form.
Four varieties of Keystone exist:
Keystone also known as Craig heavys after Detroit Tigers superstar Craig Keystone Monroe,is found with a bright red label
Keystone Premium, found with a maroon label.
Keystone Light, found with a blue label.
Keystone Ice, found with a black label.
Though Keystone and Keystone Premium exist, they are rare. The "Light" and "Ice" versions of the beer are far more prevalent and readily available for retail across the United States. Keystone Ice contains an alcohol content of 5.9% ABV, while Keystone and Keystone Premium have a cleaner, smoother taste than the other varieties. Keystone Light has an alcohol content 4.2% ABV.
Anyone know anything about brewing and can explain what the second chance portion of a batch is?

I'll do my best to explain the second chance portion. I might be off. One of my friends interned at the AB plant in Syracuse and she explained to me the process for how they make the Natty Ice (Bud's Keystone if you will). She said that even though every batch of beer has to meet exact and ridiculous standards to be bottled as Bud, ( or Bud Lt..etc) sometimes there will be too much of one indgredient or if someone forgets to wash out the tubes that they will discard that whole batch of beer. They save this beer and at the end of a cycle ( a week? not sure) they use this discarded beer to make the Natty Ice. That i believe is where the second chance batch term comes from.

I have a very hard time believing that claim about the second chance beer. There is no way that Coors Brewing screws up enough batches of Coors Light, etc to produce the mass quantities of keystone that they make. I think it's pretty safe to say that that is an urban legend. Wikipedia is not a credible source

i agree they can't screw up that much but maybe there is some rediculous standard and only a certain % turns out to be top quality even if it is done the same way for whatever reasons like the barley and hop quality etc. maybe they know going into it they have lesser quality inputs that are not up to the "Coors" standard. Whatever the reason I believe they use the same formula and brewing process in the two.

Smiff, you would be surprised how much of the products you buy get screwed up in production. Bud is so picky about the contents of their beer that if it is off by the narrowest of narrow margins, they will drop the batch completely and start over. I dont think they screw up a ton but there is always something that isnt quite right and if they think that about the current batch then they will use it for the Keystones and Natty's of the world. People claim that Keystone tastes just like Coors and that is beacause it practically is Coors! They just didnt put the same effort and standards into brewing it.
Why do you think that they sell it for nothing? Its cause they dont want to insult the intelligence of the consumer by passing off "bad" beer as their #1 brew. So they take it and sell it at a reduced cost so they can still make money off it

Monday night I went with a solid combo of a couple PBR deuce deuces and a Private Stock 40.
Genny products are almost impossible to come by here. I've only found them in 30 pack form.

I didn't see the BK King rimrocka until you posted that. With a beard I think he would've nailed it. He went that far with the costume, why not get the beard and put all doubt aside??
EDIT: Or better yet, get the fucking mask! But he probably thought about it and decided he didn't want to hide his face. What a douchebag

Our ol' boy $ym looks like he's had a couple of Whopper's since college. If you look closely you can see his triple chin...and it looks like he went home with a 'whopper' too.
