As someone who still reads comic books, they still do try to incorporate the title into the background in a lot of books. I was just reading a great Batman comic last night as I was on the can for a good length of time from eating a burger king quad stacker, a whopper jr. and a large order of onion rings. Anyway, my only major beef with Heroes is the chic with multiple personalities. That's not a General Tso's Chickening power, it's a personality disorder. Her bullpoop sidestory with her son and ex-con retard husband drags on and on. There's nothing really happening here and this portion of the plot does not need to be there at all. I LOVED the episode where they didn't show her or her tard son. That kid irks the hell out of me. Just something about him. Trying to act all smart and poop. Anyway, if they limit that storyline I'll keep watching. If that chick weren't hot, I probably wouldn't be watching heroes anymore. But the underage cheerleader is way hotter than her anyway. And so ends my rant. Two things...I too just saw my first full episodes during the marathon last night...I watched 2 1/2 hours and was pretty impressed. This is 100% guess but I think the split personalities chick may not be the "hero".... I either think she is gonna be some kind of bad guy sidekick with her crazy side, or her son is gonna be some kind of Dr. X type character (you know how a lot of good guys are related to villains?).

Spilit personality chick (nikki/jessica) does have a huge power. She is like the hulk, when she gets mad she turns into a super powerful person with an alter ego(did the hulk have an alter ego) which happens to be the sister that her father beat. If you have seen the beginning you know she can kick some serious ass.

well then get ready to be SHOCKEDDDDDDDDDDDDDD with that many D's because heroes is doing extremely well. www.tv.com/story/6868.html?q=heroesLast night's episode of the freshman series matched its highest ratings yet, 6.2 rating/15 share in 18- to 49-year-olds, with 14.3 million total viewers, according to Nielsen overnights. That's almost 10 percent better than last week's episode, and it makes Heroes the highest-rated new show of the 2006 fall season. Heroes received a full season order from NBC on October 5, and on Sunday the network ran a marathon. The higher numbers could be attributed to viewers who were on the fence about the serialized drama watching the marathon and liking what they saw. and When the series premiered in the United States, it was the night's most-watched program among adults 18-49, attracting 14.3 million viewers overall and receiving the highest rating for any NBC drama premiere in five years.

I agree Heroes isn't as good as LOST or 24, but it's a pretty good show. And it's getting better. I'm shockeddd with just a couple extra d's that you think it's that bad Bonabum. But I agree some parts of it are weak.

I need some help. I want to get into this show but I haven't been watching it. I watched most of it last night but I'm confused about who people are and what their 'powers' are.
Heres what I've figured out:
-The fat cop guy can hear peoples thoughts. -The asian guy visited the future and has a comic book telling him whats gonna happen. -The comic book from the future was drawn by the crackhead artist who can paint the future. -The blonde chick has split personalities, both of which are hot. -The black guy got shot in the head and the bullet went right through, yet he got shot in the shoulder and was bleeding profusely. This confused the shit out of me. -The kid that saved the cheerleader, I'm not sure what he does. -Also, whats with the cheerleader, what are her powers, besides sucking and fucking? -And whats the deal with the crazy guy they've got locked up?
If someone would take the time to tell me if I'm right and answer my questions I'd really appreciate it.

First of all as usualy the girl with multiple personality storyline still really sucks. Just ignore that or change it to football when that booze hag comes on or her retarded kid. The guy who can walkthrough walls (bullet guy) is ok, but he needs to lose the baggage.
Fat cop can read minds
Asian guy can stop time and teleport. The comic book tells all their stories, I think, but it might focus mostly on Asian dude.
Crackhead guy paints future when on smack, but last night realized he can do it without the dope.
General Tso's Chicken the blonde chic. She's hot, but she ices the show. - covered in first section
black guy, - covered in first section
kid who saved cheerleader is like a Rogue if you will. You'll find this show steals heavily from X-Men. He can "mimic" the powers of those around him. Major plot point about him and the dude that explodes last night. This jerk needs a haircut.
hot underage cheerleader - heals quickly. Wolverine without the claws. Can't be killed.
dude in lockup - Sylar. He's the major villain of the show. steals others powers by stealing their brains.
