The Tom Cruise/John Travolta rumors have been out there, and while nobody has solid proof (ie caught them being cornholed on the craft service table), people pretty much believe it.
Here's an interesting factoid--the story editor on "The Office" (she also plays Kelly) was one of my interns when I worked at Conan. I gave her her first job in show biz. The guy who plays Jim was an intern also, but he was hired after I left. And anyone who watches "30 Rock" (and you should--it's hilarious), you know the tall, dark-haired cast member? The guy who was trying to do Jay Leno? Another one of my interns.

Just like the ones the media makes up about R'osie O'Donell, Ellen Degeneres, Lance Bass, Melissa Ethridge, Nathan Lane, Michael Jackson, Ricky Martin, Tom Cruise, Al Roker, Kanye West, the Green Teletubbie, the Red Power Ranger, Barney, Suri, Jessie Spano, the Italian prince on The Bachelor, the City of Olean and everyone who's ever been on the Amazing Race.
