I know this film was reviewed in Cosmo's movie thread but a real discussion did not happen because some people had not seen it. This movie is the shit!! It is fuck ing awesome. One question came up with the people I saw it with. At the end, is Wahlberg's character killing Good Will Hunting out of revenege for President Bartlet's death or because he was also part of the Joker's crew? I think it is clear that it was for revenge but some other guys thought he was involved with Jack. What do you all think?

I think the envelope Leo gave to his lady friend gave her explicit instructions on what to do if murdered. And that was to deliver the identity of the inside guy to Marky Mark so he could take care of business. I don't think he was part of Jack's crew.

The reason that Marky Mark offed Good Will Hunting was because he found out that Damon was the rat (he suspected it all along). i dont think Leo got word to him cause he told that black guy ( form Harold and Kumar who spunks in the burgers) to bring Wahlburg to that abandoned building but he didnt. That was a kickass movie and it is a must purchase when it comes to DVD.

That was a kickass movie and it is a must purchase when it comes to DVD. The way he got the word to him was by passing it to him through the Dr. Chic. He gave her the letter and said she was only supposed to open it if anything happened to him (like get murdered.) This happened before rooftop scene. So she finds out he was murdered, opens the letter and see's that she's supposed to supply Marky Mark the identity of the Inside man (Good Will Hunting). Obviously he wanted to bring him in himself, but if he failed he wanted insurance that someone else would finish the job. That's why he told Black dude to get Marky Mark on the rooftop. He knew that was the last person who knew his secret. Hence, the letter he gave Dr. Chic said basically the same thing he was trying to have black guy do on the roof. That being, in the event poop goes down, Marky Mark is the ace up my sleeve.
